Effin’ Yoga is located near the intersection of Goshen Road and Highway 21 facing Parker’s Gas Station.
The studio was originally opened on Whitemarsh Island in 2015 by Mary Crouse. After moving to Effingham County in 2017, Mary closed her studio space on the islands and reopened The Barre+Yoga Room where it is currently located in September 2018.
The Barre+Yoga Room fortunately survived Covid, has grown to encompass new classes, train and hire new teachers and will continue to support the Effingham County Community with health, wellness and movement!
With Effingham County supporting our small business so kindly we decided to rebrand and permanently set our roots down in Effingham! We want you to always remember us—because we are here for you!
2022 will transition us from The Barre+Yoga Room to Effin’ Yoga—and we can’t wait!
Thank you for being patient while we work out any kinks that rebranding may bring—we appreciate your patience—it will be well worth it as we continue to grow and expand our offerings!
Why Practice With Effin’ Yoga?
We have a variety of yoga styles offered on our schedule: gentle, YIN, hot flow, power, and buti. Whether you are a beginner or you are looking to push yourself to the edge—we have something for everyone!
We have MORE than yoga: fitness classes, barre classes, and even small group training. Two of our instructors also are available for personal training if you are looking for a more one on one experience.
We also offer more than movement—we have workshops to give you more than just ‘workouts’, monthly socials to keep us growing as a community—not just a studio, kids’ classes, and we have spray tanning and massage, as well!
